Every year our family gets togeather for a pumkin carving party. We always start the night off with Chili. Sometimes we have several diffrent kinds but this year we just stuck to the basics. That actully seemed to be the theme of the night. None of us challanged ourselfs as must as in the past by all choosing simplier faces and doing several old fashion free handed pumpkins. I think we were all under sprits just a bit because we are missing one of our ring leaders, Keith. He is still in Iraq and this whole event was just not the same without him. He is usally the one that pushes us to go crazy and has even been know to use power tools on his pumpkin master pieces. Anyway, we had a great time reminssing on past years and of course enjoying the present exprince with the girls. Bryle & Bryn really enjoyed cleaning out the slimmy insides of the pumpkins... yuck! Oscar, Keith & Alisha's dog, was in heaven cleaning up the floor after the girls. All in all it was another great pumpkin year but I must admit I look foward to next year when we will have the whole gang to enjoy it!
