There is this super cool playground close to our county's recycle center. It often bugs me that I have to drive 15 minutes to recycle, but we have found a way to make it lots of fun. Less then 1/2 mile from the recycle center is this housing community that consists of a several neighborhoods filled with pricey houses. They have a community playground that is so COOL. Really it is the nicest playground I have ever seen. We of course are not supposed to be there since it is for residents only but some rules were meant to be broken.
Bryn loves the sandbox that has buried treasures all throughout. There is even a treasurer map buried in the center that has all the other treasure marked with an X. We have only found the map and one treasure so far so we have lots of hours of digging to go. Each item is a little over a foot deep so it takes awhile to get to each. You can see part of the treasure map in this picture of Bryn, it is right at her foot.
Bryle loves just about every part! She giggles the whole time she swings and loves the thrill of the big slides (and there are like 15 of them). She also loves the cool playhouse made from a large tree stump.
As for me, taking my girls to the playground gives me the excuse to play. I am often digging with Bryn, swinging or sliding with Bryle, and I love to play in what I like to call Potter's Place. This playground is the size of two football fields so there is always something new to do.
Anyone else want to start recycling? Then you could join us at our favorite spot too!
